A Special exhibition “What goes around comes around” held in NIBR

NIBR hold a special exhibition, “What goes around comes around” that addresses the negative effects of trash on our environment. The exhibit runs through 30 April to 15 September 2019 at the NIBR Exhibition hall.

The exhibit sheds light on the overflowing trash problems and invites visitors to seek solutions for that by demonstrating double sidedness of trash we throw away.

The one side is a vicious circle that pollutes land and ocean which hurts plants and animals and threatens humanity in the end.

The other side is a virtuous circle where trash is recused and recycled and becomes valuable resources in our life.

The exhibit also features many different efforts to tackle and solve the trash problem in practice.

One is “zero waste campaign” that gets attention on social media. Some people take part in a movement to live a special one day without plastic.

Dr. Lee, Byoung yoon, Director General of NIBR said: “Our will is more important than ever to protect biodiversity and our planet. NIBR will take a leading role in research on useful biological resources to solve environment problems such as plastic trash.
