The National Institute of Biological Resources (NIBR) announces the public release of high-resolution digital images of plant specimens preserved in its vascular plant specimen storage facility, allowing public access without an on-site visit.

This release includes high-resolution digital images of approximately 12,000 plant specimens selected from NIBR’s collection of around 800,000 specimens. The released images include some of the oldest plant specimens in Korea dating back to the 1890s, as well as specimens donated by the late botanist, Professor Yong-No Lee.
