Our research aims to meet future market demands by utilizing domestic and foreign biological resources in the bioeconomy era. We strive to increase the value of biological resources and promote sustainable use by exploring the potential of biomaterials derived from domestic and foreign biota, as well as traditional knowledge related to biological resources, for use in health functional foods, cosmetics, medicines, and other applications. In addition, we investigate strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and convert them into valuable materials by utilizing domestic biological resources. Through these studies, we aim to collect valuable information that strengthens our biosovereignty and promotes scientific analysis to facilitate the use of biological resources in various ways and to support the bioindustry.
